I like on Pawn Stars that they have guys that know fucking everything about tricycle manufacturing in the 1930’s

@reverb gorgeous sherwood green over black, is that an anodized pickguard?

@reverb I love it, I have two JMs and am jealous of the mastery bridge and the maple fretboard

@Laser anodized yes, and it does look a lot like sherwood green, but it’s actually lake placid blue aged to a green, over black

The green is because an aged clear coat can yellow. If you look closely you can see where the clear coat is worn away and the original blue color shows through.

@reverb nice, what model is it? I've been out of the game for a bit. I could literally talk about jazzmasters all day

@Laser the maple strat type neck was what the very first run jazzmasters had, because they hadn’t finished the jazzmaster headstock yet

this guitar i feel is an absolutely authentic legitimate 1958 Fender Jazzmaster prototype

replica i put together

@Laser yes, if it was legit i would sell it and pay off our home

@Laser but for me, partscaster was the way to go, i really like strat v necks, and the chrome knobs help ambient volume swells, and that makes a 1958 jazzmaster
